Amie Corley Interiors is a full service interior design firm based in St. Louis, Missouri. Amie’s work has been featured in Domino, Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Sophisticated Living and many local publications. Amie is best known for her lively and whimsical approach to traditional design. She incorporates vivid color and pattern with traditional pieces to create a mix that is uniquely hers. Amie sources vintage and one-of-a kind pieces from all over the world and loves creating collections for her clients that tell their story. Passionate about art and how it completes a home, Amie works with contemporary artists and galleries from St. Louis to Sydney to source pieces for her clients. Amie and her team approach each project as an opportunity to create something truly unique. She believes the details make the room and works with her clients from initial concept to fluffing that final pillow.
Amie was born and raised in a small Cajun town in South Louisiana and growing up showed no signs of wanting to become an interior designer. She was not one to play with doll houses but rather dreamed of one day becoming a doctor. She graduated from Wofford College in South Carolina with a biology degree and then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Tropical Medicine at Tulane University. While living in New Orleans, Amie began to tap in to her creative side, taking art and photography classes which led her to question her science focused career choice. She met and married her husband, Rob while living in NOLA and in 2001 he whisked her away to Chicago where he completed his residency. In 2004, Amie and Rob moved to his hometown of Saint Louis and bought a turn of the century fixer-upper across from famed Forest Park. Thus began Amie’s obsession with all things interiors. After years of teaching herself the craft of interior design on her very own test project, Amie opened her firm in 2009. She has been infusing St. Louis homes with her cheerful, sophisticated, Southern aesthetic ever since. Amie lives in St. Louis’ Central West End with her children Henry and Marie and her husband Rob.
